THANKS TO TRIBAL BAKERS !
We would like r.o thank the following tribal members for demonstrating
their support by donating baked goods and money to our Title IV-A Baked
Faod Sale held at the Corner Store in Willamina on December 8. Thank
you Mabel pas ton, Velnia Mercier, Nora Kimsey, Martha Mercier, Faye, Telia
and Stella Fisher, Clara Riggs, Ha Dowd, Mildred Holmes, Marge McAbee,
Marlene Groshong, Sharon Norwest, Margq George, Harriet Leno, Cheryl Carl,
Marion 'Henry and Michaelle Lambert, Our sale brought in $54. 05, to be
used to help with the expense of our annual Christmas party. Again,

MCRg TITLE IV-A HEWS '
Michaelle Lambert, Home School Counselor for our Title IV-A program,
is providing tutoring for Indian children needing help in school, For
more information contact Michafile at 879-5253.
Craft classes are held each Wednesday afternoon from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m.,'
at. 'the Grand Roads Grade school, and each Thursday evening from 7:00 to
8 : 30 p. mr at the, tribal of f. ice.
Title IV kids Will take part in decorating the Christmas tree for our
Christmas party (Dec. 22) and are being asked to be at the school at 10:00 a
to begin, trimming the tree. '.
GEORGE BROTHERS RECEIVE FOOTBALL HONORS
Rick and Tim George, sons of Allan and Mryna George, have received
recognition as outstanding football players during the 1979 season at
Villasaina High. , , ' ,
;Rick George, 15 years old and a sophmore at Willamina High, received
an Honorable Mention for the All Star Team of the Yawama League.'
Tin George is 36 years old and a Junior, , He was named to the Yarchill
County All Star Team as outstanding lineman,' and also named to the Yawama
League All Star 1st Team as outstanding offensive tackle. Eis name will
be engraved on a plaque which will'.. be placed at the High School. ,
Congratulations guys and good luck in your next'l (Tim) and 2 (Rick)
