General Meeting & Potluck
The August General Meeting & Potluck will be Sunday, August
5, at 1:30 p.m. We eat at 1:30. Bring your own silverware and
dish. Remember, we have a baked food sale too, tribal members
are asked to bring 2 baked foods to be sold.
Tribal Council Elections
Elections for the 1979-80 Tribal Council will be held at our
September 9th General meeting (the meeting will be the second '.
Sunday of September due to the Labor day week-end) . The respon
sibility of the Tribal Council can not be stressed enough. Each
member of the Council will represent our Tribal community for the
coming year. You should now be considering your nominations for
officers as well as board members. Qualifications should be care
fully considered while making your choice. The coming year pro
mises to be a busy one and will require much time that will have
to be devoted by dedicated Council 'members . Your vote and cont
inued support is needed to help us reach our goals.
