    KIMSEYS CELEBRATE 50TH
Family and friends will gather July 7th at the home of Lor en and
Nora Kimsey to attend an open house to celebrate the couples' 50th
wedding anniversary. The Kimseys' were married July 5, 1929 at Grand
Ronde and have lived in the area nearly all their married life.
The couple have three children, 14 grandchildren and 9 great grand
children. Happy Anniversary!
THANK YOU ESTHER LA BONTE
The Tribal Council and Tribal members would like to thank Esther
LaBonte for the largest single donation recieved for the purchase of
our land.
Mrs. LaBonte at the age of 84 has 52 grandchildren and 32 great
grandchildren .
At the OIEA Convention held in Klamath Falls Esther was named Elder
of the Year, as you can see she deserved the award. Thanks again Mrs.
LaBonte.

Requests for applications for enrollment to be placed on the
Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde Tribal roll are now being accepted
Eligibility requirements are:
(A) Applicant was born on or before August 13,, 195h and was
entitled on August 13, 195k to be on the final membership roll but
his. or her name was not listed
(B) Applicant was born after August 13, 195U aid is a decendant
of a person whose name appears on the August 13, 195U final membership
roll.
(C) Applicant was born after August 13, 195U and is s decendant
of a person whom is entitled to appear on the August 13, 195U final
nonberchip roll.
If any of the above apply to you, you are eligible to be enroll
ed. If you know of anyone who may be eligible for enrollment, please
