Spilyay Tymoo, Warm Springs August 23, 2023 Page 7 Film workshop intensive focuses on community youth The Warm Springs Community Action Team is hosting a filmmak- ing intensive workshop with actress Cara Jade Myers. The five-day workshop inten- sive is for Warm Springs youth ages 14-18. The workshop will be Friday through Tuesday, August 25-29. Ms. Myers, who also visited Warm Springs earlier this year, hopes the workshop will have a posi- tive impact on the young people of the tribal community. Buffs BBQs... Presenting the workshop August 25-29, the team encourages early sign-ups, as space is limited. During the workshop, youth will learn the basic fundamentals of acting and filmmaking. A short film will be created as part of the learning process.
