Conflict over Willamette Falls site The Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde filed a motion in late May to inter- vene in a federal lawsuit PGE filed in April regard- ing Willamette Falls. PGE seeks to seize land that the Oregon Depart- ment of State Lands con- trols. The state had granted the Grand Ronde a permit to use the falls for fishing and ceremonial purposes.
