On the date of the demo- graphics, November 10, there had been a total of 1,186 total cases among the tribal community. Twenty-nine percent of all cases were among vacci- nated people. The average age of the breakthrough cases was 45. Forty breakthrough cases involved residents of care facilities, senior living communities or other congre- gate care settings. There were 76 cases in people ages 12 to 17. To date, there have been 39,686 Covid-19 vaccine breakthrough cases in Oregon. The average age of all cases is 48. Breakthrough cases have been reported in all 36 counties. Cases of Covid-19 are far more common in unvac- cinated people. The report shows that the rate of covid in unvaccinated people is four times higher than in vac- cinated people. To date, 4.4 percent of all vaccine break- through cases have been hospitalized and 1.1 percent have died.
