The modernization project is now in the design phase, with the ground-breaking ex- pected next summer, Mr. Dauphinais said. Earlier, the three design concepts were submitted to Tribal Council and the IHS area office. Enforcement Depart- ment: Hood River Office. Columbia river Inter- Tribal Police Department Sergeant: The sergeant serves as a first line super- visor over the patrol division. Closes October 22. Columbia River Inter- Tribal Police Department: Four positions. The Columbia River Inter-Tribal Police Department is based in Hood River Oregon. CRITPD-Dispatcher: Three positions. Columbia River Inter- Tribal Police dispatchers are based in Hood River, and are the communication link for all incoming communica- tions to the Columbia River as healthy people,” Mr. Dauphinais said. With this project the Phar- macy area would also be larger. Another benefit will be bringing onto the clinic campus all of the health ser- vices offered through IHS and Managed Care. The clinic was built in 1993. For merly, the IHS Warm Springs Clinic was housed in the current Fam- ily Resource Center build- ing. The move in 1993 to the current clinic was a great im- provement in terms of the size and updating of the clinic facility. The new project will have similar benefits. and or other aspects of the event, such as traffic control. There will be upwards of 600 food boxes, community prevention teams and other community resources will be providing community educa- tion, and a trick or treat for those who attend. Shaker Church closure The closure of the War m Springs 1910 Shaker Church remains in effect, indefinitely, until further notice due to the suspected hazardous building materials within the church ceiling, kitchen and dining areas. Funding has been se- cured to conduct an en- vironmental study to col- lect samples of the sus- pected hazardous building materials, and securing the consultants into a contract are in progress. For the health and safety of church patrons, the Warm Springs 1910 Shaker Church will need to remain closed until the environmental stud- ies and renovations are completed.
