The Confederated Tribes Covid-19 Response Team updated the
case data for the reservation, as of late last week, August 18.
On that date there were 20 active cases among the tribal
community: The graph above shows that more than two-thirds
of 20 positives were among the unvaccinated. And below, a
breakdown of some of the data. See page 5 for more data.

football season. They play a
home game on Friday,
September 3 against Corbett;
and then travel to Sisters for
an away game on September
10. Along with the Varsity
and Junior Varsity Football,
the other fall sports getting
under way at Madras High
School are Cross Country,
Soccer and Volleyball.
he Airshow of the Cas-
cades this year celebrates its
Twentieth Anniversary at the
Madras air field.
A feature this year will be a
visit from an iconic World War
II B-17, Sentimental Jour ney,
sponsored by the Flying Leg-
ends Victory Tour and the
Airbase Arizona Flying Mu-
seum.
You can purchase a ticket
to take a ride in the B-17, and
ground tours are also avail-
able.

ground tours will be this
Wednesday, August 25, and
Sunday, August 29. The main
Airshow is this Friday and Sat-
urday, August 27-28.

Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress is
one of only five still flying, out
of more than 12,000 that were
made during World War II.
Crews flew thousands of mis-
sions in the B-17s, mostly over
Europe during the war.
The Madras Airshow will
also feature the U.S. Ar my
Golden Nights skydiving team,
a F4 Skyhawk jet; and musical
performance by Precious Byrd.
The show features vintage cars,
fireworks, concessions and
more.
Veterans and kids under 5
get in for free. RV parking is
