Radish harvest, chips at Academy
The Warm Springs Acad-
emy and Oregon State Uni-
versity Extension collabo-
rated to host Garden Edu-
cation classes for students in
the new school garden.
We held the Garden
classes during the Monday
morning Rise & Shine
classes at the Academy.
Ellen Ames and Vivian
Smith of the Warm Springs
Academy provided great as-
sistance.
Students participated in a
several garden planting acti-
vates in the greenhouse and
raised garden bed boxes.
Academy students who
participated in the Rise &
Shine Garden Classes ended
the school year with a radish
harvest.
Students planted the rad-
ishes from seed, and cared
for the plants until harvest.
The students were able to
sample the radishes.

Summer meals for youth
Warm Springs Recre-
ation is hosting the Sum-
mer Lunch Program,
starting June 25 and last
into early August.
Lunch will be from
11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.
on Mondays, Tuesdays
and Wednesdays.
You can eat lunch
with the staff in the so-
cial hall. The meals will
be excellent. Please sign

There is a Behavior
Health Walk-In Clinic to-
day. Appointments are
available between 1 and 5
p.m. The medical social
workers at the clinic can
help with screenings, as-
sessments, crisis inter-
vention and many other
things for children, adoles-
cents and adults.

Warm Springs Chris-
tian Fellowship meets
this morning at 9:30 at the
Greeley Heights Commu-
nity Center.
The Warm Springs Bap-
tist Church has Sunday
School at 10, and Wor-
ship Service at 11 this
morning.
The Warm Springs
Food Bank is located at
the Presbyterian Church.
They are open from 11:30-
1:30 today. All food banks
and pantries do take do-
nations of non-perishable
food or cash
Monday, June 25
There is a Fusion Fit-
ness class every Monday
and Wednesday morning
at 6 at the Community
Center aerobics room.
The class is suitable for
all fitness levels.

Fitness in the Aerobics
