The open house will be this Friday, March 30 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The CPS building is new in that the interior and exte- rior have been completely renovated: New floors and ceilings, windows, paint, fur- niture, and exterior im- provements. The original idea for CPS, back in 2010, was to build a new facility, and at the time be provided. The meeting begins at 6 p.m., Hosted by the Range and Agriculture Committee. CPS began setting aside funding for the project. Unfortunately it never hap- pened. Then last year tribal management, CPS and Coun- cil weighed the options, and decided on a renovation of the existing building, plus the addition of an adjacent tran- sition facility in the Vern Jack- son, also remodeled. The CPS work began last winter, done by War m Springs Construction. They were putting finish- ing touches up until a couple of weeks ago, and the build- ing is now complete. The hunt will start at 10 a.m. sharp behind the Fam- ily Resource Center. The annual Easter egg hunt is sponsored by the Native Aspiration Coali- tion. This is a drug and alcohol free event, fun for the whole family. Hands Around the Courthouse April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month, and Warm Springs Victims of Crime Services will be host- ing the Seventh Annual Hands Around the Court- house.
