Tamera is an active member with the Warm Springs VFW Elliot Palmer Post 4217. As a VFW member she receives email updates from the National VFW, including a recent one about the read- ing of names on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall. She responded to the email: “I just wanted to make sure that the name would be read of our Warm Springs veteran—Daniel John Tababoo Jr.—who was killed in the Vietnam War,” Tamera. Instead, she received an invitation to read a list of names at the upcoming Thirty-Fifth Anniversary Commemoration at the Viet- nam Veterans Memorial Wall. The Community Advisory Board is a requirement of the Communications Act of 1934 for public broadcasting sta- tions receiving a Community Service Grant from the Cor- poration for Public Broad- casting. The KWSO board is com- prised of representatives from tribal departments and programs, as well as from lo- cal non-profit organizations, businesses and interested community members. The meeting is open to the public. At the upcoming meeting there will be a review of KWSO vision and mission, programming, goals and ac- complishments.
