OneBeat returns to W.S.
O neBeat is returning to
War m Springs. OneBeat
brings together 25 adventur-
ous musicians from 17 coun-
tries to explore how the arts
can renew and restore per-
spectives, spaces and societ-
ies.
They will be at the Mu-
seum at Warm Springs for a
series of workshops this
Wednesday and Thursday,
September 27-28; and Tues-
day and Thursday, October
3 and 5. Each day 3:30-5:30
p.m.
In this workshop series,
students will be able
collaboratively make music
with the musicians from
around the world.
All skill levels welcome. No
experience necessary, but if
you have any instruments,
bring them. Come for the
first workshop and sign up for
the following three sessions.

Bureau of Educational and
Cultural Affairs. The pro-
ducer is Bang on a Can’s
Found Sound Nation.
The Fifth Annual Jim
Pepper Native Arts Fes-
tival is this Saturday,
September 30 at the
Parkrose High School
campus in Portland
from 11 a.m.-7 p.m. All
ages welcome. Free
event featuring perfor-
mances by Native mu-
sicians.
