This was on a recommen- dation from the superinten- dent. What had happened was that long-time JROTC teacher Lt. Col. Larry Renfro retired from the position. At the school board meet- ing this week was a represen- tative from the Central Or- egon Chapter of the Military Officers Association of America. There are network- ing opportunities that could lead to finding a candidate to take the position at the Ma- dras High School JROTC program, she said. This and other networking sources are the approach the board and staff will take to- ward trying to find a resolu- tion, said Laurie Danzuka. Testimony at the school board meeting this week came from former and current members of the Madras High School JROTC pro- gram. Veterans and parents also gave testimony, often emotional statements as to the many benefits of the pro- gram. The school board will take up the matter again at their meeting scheduled for July 31. The board may meet in the main room at the Madras Performing Arts Center, as the meeting room this week was not big enough for the turnout. 2016 Scion TC Hatchback coup - 10619 miles - $20,364 2015 Kia Optima - 37,624 miles - $21,685 #82845A #19992B 2015 Ford Focus - 7,554 miles - $22, 572 #29169B 2015 Chevrolet Camaro - 13,200 miles - 2013 Scion FR-S Coupe - 39,792 miles - 2014 Hyundai Genesis - 42,000 $18,995 #71242A $21,995 #54711W $23,187 #40819A 2012 Chevrloet Cruze - 110,491 miles - 2012 Chevrolet Silverado - 89,100 miles - $10,566 $24,93 #41633C #74176B 2011 Cadillac SRX - 30,418 miles - 2009 Jeep Compass- 138,287 miles - $22,870 $7,995 #52379A #11418A 2006 Ford F 150 - 110,203 miles - $16,995 2006 Chevrolet Spark- 29,693 miles - #66453B $10,685 #20006A
