Page 6 Spilyay Tymoo, Warm Springs, Oregon Runner to compete Down Under My name is Tyler Anderson. I am 17 years old, and a Junior at Madras Senior High, where I run cross country. I am enrolled member of Con- federated Tribes of Warm Springs. I was invited to run cross coun- try in Australia. I will be represent- ing Team Oregon. I was originally chosen based on my 5k times at school for cross country. This past cross country sea- son I had a goal for Districts. My goal was to place in the top five. I placed first! I then ran at State. I had a goal for state as well, and that was to place in the top 10. I finished the race in eighth place. I still have a balance of about $3,500 left to raise to cover my flights and lodging. In addition to this I am also trying to raise spend- ing money. Courtesy photo. I also accept donations and pay it towards my account. I want to thank everyone who has helped this far in any way. I really appreciate it. These are memories I will have forever.
