versary. The Holiday Bowling
C om m ittee appreciates all who
have supported the event over
these four decades,
The tournament this year is set
for Thursday through Saturday,
Nov, 24-26 at Lava Lanes in Bend.
There is a 100-percent return
in this USBC certified to u rn a
ment.
T h e m ixed team s bow l on
Thursday at 3 p.m. and Friday at
9 a.m.
Doubles and singles are Friday
at noon and 3 p.m. The Masters
event is Friday at 6 p.m. ($30 en
try fee).
Senior Masters is 5 p.m. on Fri
day ($25 entry). The Holiday Roll-
O ff is Saturday at 2 p.m. The Big
D og Challenge is Friday at 6 p.m.
($32 entry). There is USBC youth
bowling ($10 participation fee).
The G ramm z Special is a 9 pin
no tap, 3-6-9 auto strikes, scotch
doubles and one regular game':

A volleyball clinic and
open gym volleyball are held
every Tuesday and Thurs
day through D ecem ber at
the W arm Springs Y outh
Center.
The youth clinic is from
5:15-6 p.m. Tuesdays and
Thursdays; and the open
gym is from 6-7 p.m..
Boys and girls ages 7-17
are invited to participate in
the clinic.
People 14 to adults can
take part in the open gym
volleyball. All skilllevelsare
welcome.

It’s all-Indian plus 3, ten players

Warm Springs Nation Boxing hosted Rez Boxing,
Oct. 29 at Kah-Nee-Ta. There were several bouts
featuring Warm Springs boxers, and fighters from
around the region.

Springs.
There will be first- through third-,
place awards, plus MVP, Mr. Hustle,
high scorer and All Stars.

Northwest University Eagles women’s basketball starting
guard Mariah Stacona scored 14 points and had four steals,
four assists and a block recently against Behedictine
University. Mariah, a 2015 graduate of Madras High School, is
in her sophomore year at the university, located near Seattle.
The Eagles are currently 3-0, having beaten UC Merced,
Benedictine and Embry-Riddle.
The team plays in the Adidas Northwest Classic starting on
November 11. They will play the Univeristy of Great Falls, and
Montana State-Northern, Nov. 11-12.
