for the Wild Horse Race
Finals.
The team members are

The Jason Smith Team is
the defending champion Wild
Horse Racing team, having
won the 2013 Finals, among
the team’s other previous
championships.
This year the Wild Horse
Race Finals are part of the
Western States Rodeo Ranch
Rodeo Association National
Finals.
Sturgeon fishery at The Dalles Pool
The Columbia River In-
ter-Tribal Fish Commission
announced the opening of a
fall season commercial stur-
geon setline fishery at the Co-
lumbia River.
The fishery is The Dalles
Pool Commercial Sturgeon
Setline Fishery.
The commercial setline
opening began on Monday of
this week, and runs through
November 29.
The fishery will be closed
earlier, if the commercial har-
vest guideline of 1,000 fish
is met for this pool.
The area is restricted to
The Dalles Pool only. Gear:
Set line gear.
Fishers are encouraged to
use circle hooks and avoid J
hooks.
Allowable sales: Sturgeon
only, 43 to 54 inch fork
length. Sturgeon within the
legal size limits and caught in
platform and hook and line
fishery in The Dalles Pool
only may also be sold, if
caught during the open peri-
ods of the set line fishery.
Sales of fish caught in open
commercial periods may be
sold after the end of the open
period.
Standard Sanctuaries appli-
cable to setlines are in effect.
Zone 6 platform, hook
and line fishery
The Zone 6 platform and
hook and line fisheries will
remain open through
Wednesday, Dec. 31, for both
commercial and subsistence
purposes under rules adopted
previously.
The platform and hook
and line fishery remains open
for subsistence use at any
time.
Regarding the platform
and hook and line fishery
downstream of Bonneville:
Please contact your tribe
directly for specific regula-
tions, gear requirements, and
open days for this fishery.
If this fishery is open,
salmon, steelhead, shad, wall-
eye, carp, catfish, bass and
yellow perch may be sold or
kept for subsistence.
Sturgeon may not be re-
tained in fisheries down-
stream of Bonneville. Sales
may not occur on USACE
property at Bonneville Dam:
fish must be transported to
other locations for sale.

The Warm Springs Community Action Team is host-
ing Financial Skills for Families classes in Novem-
ber and December. The classes will be on Thursday
evenings, starting Nov. 6, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. The
topics include understanding the economy, develop-
ing a spending plan, working with checking and sav-
ings, understanding credit and credit reports, access-
ing credit 1 and 2. You can learn more about these
