USDA Approves Funding for Warm Springs K-8
Last month, we received notice that the USDA has approved the remaining
funding needed to build our Warm Springs school. With support from our
communities, the Tribes and the District together have secured the funding
needed to create a better learning environment for our children.
“In addition to serving our children, this project will create new jobs and
improve the surrounding community,” said Urbana Ross, CTWS Operations
Dept. Assistant. “We will be expanding roads and making them safer as well as
creating new walking paths.” For construction questions, call (541) 475-6192.

Making Reading Fun!

Dog, was the JCSD students’ first
choice in hard bound books. The
event is part of JCSD’s ongoing
“Read to Succeed” literacy
awareness program and is designed
to encourage a love of reading in
children and increase the literacy
rates of students in Jefferson County.
