Great first game for Buffs, followed by tough loses
The W hite B uff offense
w ould disappear until near
the end o f the second quar
ter.
The Buffs put together a
masterful 80 yard drive and
came within inches o f scor
ing a touchdown but a pass
into the end zone was inter
cepted, ending the first half.
In the second half Sisters
would keep the ball on the
ground, tallying up 39 points
before the white buffs could
even score.
Madras did get into the
end zone, b ut it was too little
too late and the W hite Buffs
dropped a second game 39-
o.

At Stayton
In the season opener on

with tremendous momentum.
They did, but so did their next
opponent, the Redmond Pan

Construction Planning Underway
JCSD, with help from
members of the local
community, has selected
the Wenaha Group to lead
the planning, design and
constructibn of our new school
district facilities. Wenaha
Group’s Rob Quaempts
and Dave Fishel are well-
respected construction
professionals with more than
44 years of combined construction experience. Together they
provide construction management and consulting services to
organizations, corporations, and Tribes throughout the region.
“We are looking forward to our new partnership with the
Weneha team and as the project moves forward, we will be asking
for input from staff and community members,” said Rick Moli tor,
superintendent for JCSD. “Our community made this work
possible by supporting the school bond and we really want them
to be involved in the process.”
The District and Warm Springs leadership will be providing
regular updates on the following projects:
■ Warm Springs K-8
■ District-wide facility upgrades and construction
