IRMP scoping meeting
Terri Harber/Spilyay
Miss Warm Springs 2010 will wear the crown and sash
(abdve) made by Marjorie Kalama. The sewing and
beadyvork took about two and a half months, said
Kalama. “I talked with some of the past pageant winners
about what they would like to see in the crown and
sash,” she said.
Thé consensus was that the crown and sash should be
light in weight, which is especially helpful during the hot
summer months.
“Their input helped a lot in the design,” said Kalama. The
Miss Warm Springs Pageant is scheduled for the
evening of Friday, Jan. 22 at the Agency Longhouse.
