undefeated all the way through
the tournament.

An apology
I ’m a W arm Springs tribal
m em ber who has relocated o ff
the reservation because o f the
trouble th at I ’ve g o tten into
while I lived there. I m oved
away to better my life b ut I find
myself falling back into old be
havior patterns because I’m n ot
able to find a job. Right now I ’m
looking for work and trying to
get my head back on right.
I ’m actually not writing this
letter about myself, but to send
out an apology to J.K. and her
children. I would rather do it in
person but there’s a few o f them
that can’t stand the sight o f me.
F irst o f f I w o u ld like to
apologize to J.K. for all o f the
things that I put her through due
to my insecurities about Efe and
I hope that she can find forgive
ness in her heart tow ard me.
Secondly, I would like to apolo
gize to her children, J., M. L., L.
Jr., R. and J., for almost taking
your guys and gals m other’s life
from you.
I deeply regret what I have
done and I am getting the help
I need so that nothing like that
will happen again. I just hope
that you all can find it in your
hearts to forgive me and find
peace. O nce again, I apologize
to J.K. and her children for all
o f th e su fferin g I p u t th em
through.

Aho!
hom e, w here many lived and
died. And it was built with sweat
and blood. They cared for it with
pride.
The house is full o f m em o
ries, o f people that I love, and
though they’ve long since passed
away, I’m often thinking o f...
A little stream b ehind the
house, with water crystal clear.
It sings it’s little song all day for
everyone to hear.
A rocking chair that’s old and
worn, sits just outside the door,
upon a porch that’s falling down,
for I can work no more.
And w hen it’s time for me to
go I hope that G od can see that
litde house that’s made q f logs
is where I ought to be.
