MHS fall sports gearing up
Fall athletics programs are
beginning soon at Madras High
School.
Fall sports parent informa
tion night is tonight, Aug. 14,
starting at 6 p.m. at the Madras
High School commons. Parents
and athletes are invited.
Fall sports practice begins on
Monday, August 18 for volley
ball, football, girls soccer and
boys soccer.
All athletes must have a cur
rent physical, not more than two
years old. The physical must be
documented on a state approved
physical form.
All athletes m ust have an
MHS athletic eligibility form
(blue sheet); MHS parent ap
proval form (yellow sheet);
MHS random drug testing con
sent (green sheet); and MHS
emergency contact card (3x5
card, available from coaches and
MHS office only).

The Bruce Brown tour will
be Aug. 20-21, as follows:

“Redefining the term athlete.”

G o lf scramble at Kah-Nee- Ta

Association will host a four-
person scramble on Sunday,
August 31.
The scramble begins at 12
noon at the K ah-N ee-Ta
High Desert Resort and Ca
sino G olf Course, shotgun
start.
Cost: $40 per person/$160
per team.
Entry includes green fees,
cart fees, goodie bag, range balls,
K P’s and longest drive, shortest
drive and long-putt.
Mulligans: $1 each/five max
per player.
Putting string: $5 each/
two per team.
