Each grade lfevel sang several
songs and also played songs on
instruments for the audience.

Warm Springs Elem en­
tary hosted their annual mu­
sic program last week, as the
third, fourth and fifth grad­
ers entertained the commu­
nity with various songs.
Music teacher JoAnnJasa
spoke to the audience before
the program began, and
praised the students’ efforts.

This opportunity is for Warm
Springs tribal members choos­
ing to further their education at
an accredited four year college
as a full-time or part-time stu­
dent or enrolled in an accred­
ited two year college or voca­
tional-technical school.
Applications will be available
at the Warm Springs Education
Building and Kah-Nee-Ta’s Hu­
man Resources Office, and must
be received by the deadline of
July 18 at 5 p.m.
O f those applicants meeting
the deadline and completing
their applications, the following
will be awarded:
Accredited four year college
One Female recipient will be

The fourth grade classes also
played “B-A-G Rock” and the
“Navajo Rain Dance” on the
recorder. They finished by sing­
ing “I Walk in Beauty” and
“Friends With a Song.”
Fifth grade students sang
“Come and Go W ith Me to
That Land” along with keyboard
and recorder players; they also
sang “Three Little Birds,” a song
from Jamaica.
Fifth graders also played
three recorder songs: “Re­
corder Fever,” “Jazzin’,” and
“Moccasin Dance.”
The fifth grade students
closed the show by singing,
“America, America.”
The spring program is an
annual event at Warm
Springs Elementary, which
will have the last day o f
school for the 2007-08 aca­
demic year this month.
Warm Springs Community Library
The Warm Springs Com­
munity Library is located in
the Family Resource Center.
The Ebrary is open Mon­
day-through Thursday from
9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and on Fri­
day from 9 afo. tb 5 p.m.
Library staff invites all
community members to stop
by and browse through the
growing book coUection.

available for Internet access,
as weU as daily newspapers.
The Ebrary is conducting
