Happy
money, to protéct them from
us. Now they do anything they
want, knowing no one will stop
them . Look, at the m illio ns
meant for a school;' Housing
and Construction that disap
peared during the reign of Larry,
Moe and Curly. The Housing
Commission turned them in,
and some good people got the
axe. At least they had guts.
M anagem ent Wyants to en
hance Kah-Nee-Ta again.’Every
year the Resort loses money, so
they say, even with the casino.
Remember, this management
always hand picks the manager.
Now you hear some Council
blaming the Indians for wanting
gaming at the Lodge. From the
beginning o f both the Lodge
and gam in g, m an agem ent
wanted the Indians kept away,
because Indians would turn the:
place into Rialto. The orders
were just short df. putting up
signs saying, ?No dogs and In
dians allowed.” I. know this be-
ing shortage. They did everything
they could to keep > homes from
being built. Council seems to be
proud of the way Housing preys
on members, by ignoring all the
complaints. Now they want to
build expensive house for their
white brothers and sisters right
away. W hy woii’t Council jump
this fast for the people they
begged to*represènt?
Another thing, did our lead
ers 638 the clinic? What hap
pened to the millions that were
meant for Indian health care?
W hat kind ofi! “lead ers” lean
claim to be “The Elite” and are
willing to. sacrifice the péople
and the Reservation?
Management has given away
the water, health care and h o w
wants to give away the land, with
out a word to the people. What
next, Termination? So, where is
the Tribal Council whèn they are
doing all this? Probably waiting
