Elementary school
welcomes new teacher

As she prepares her class
room, Brownson said, “I ’m so
excited!”
’“I can’t wait to get going with
all the kids,” Brownson added.
She will be teaching first
grade at Warm Springs Elemen
tary This is Brownson’s first
teaching job.
Brownson grew up in Myrtle
C íeék, O re ., and a tte n d ed
U m pqua Community College
fbr her associate’s degree before
attending Northwest Christian
Cbflege.
She chose to work with el
ementary school students in part
because o f her relationship with
her young niece and nephew.
