S t passed away on July 18,
2007. H e was 63.
Mr. Thompson was born
August 10,1943 at HeHe to
parents Tony Thompson and
Evelyn Moody.
H e w as m arrie d to.
Deanna Charley Thompson
on August 14,1962. She pre­
ceded him in death eadier this
year.
Mr. Thompson was a life­
lo n g re sid e n t o f W arm
Springs. Wissie Logging Inc.
employed him as a catskinner
logger.
Mr. Thompson is survived
by his children: Curtis Th­
ompson, Selena Boise, Tony
Thompson and Leland Th­
om pson J r., all o f W arm
Springs; brothers Melvin and
William Scott, both of Warm
Springs; sisters Linda Allen,
Lucy Scott and Sandra Scott,
all o f Warm Springs; eleven
grandchildren and two great
grandchildren.

delegates to the Tribal Council
certain important powers of the
people; and
Whereas it is the duty of the
Tribal Council to govern the res­
ervation for the people’s benefit;

Whereas the people have the

Whereas the Twenty-Fourth
Tribal Council recognizes and
supports the people’s desire for
improvements in the areas de­
scribed and is cômmitted to pro­
vide the leadership required to
accom plish these goals; now,
therefore,
Jie it resolved by the Twenty-
Fourth Tribal Council o f the
C onfederated Tribes o f the
Warm Springs Reservation of
Oregon, pursuant to the Con­
stitution and By-Laws, Article V,
Section 1(f), (l), (o), and (p), and
the Corporate Charter, Section
4, that the Tribal Council hereby
proclaims its commitment tfc>
