Leona Ike and Frederick Ike III represented Warm Springs at the recent Cascade
Locks SternWheeler Days celebration. The Ikes were acting as ambassaors of the
Confederated Tribes to the Cascade Locks community, where the tribes are planning
to build the Bridge of the Gods Resort and Casino.
The ambassadors program has sponsored a number of floats in various parades this
summer. For instance, they won a first prize with a float in the Pi-Ume-Sha Parade.
Carol Wewa organized the float.
