FM Global awarded the grant, worth over $2,000, in order to assist the department in targeting arson prevention. Wayne Fish, group man ager for FM Global, spoke to Fire and Safety employees about the importance of pre venting arson. Arson, he said, is the sec ond-leading cause of fire to day. As for his company, Fish said, “We are a property in surance com pany w ith an unusual focus on loss preven tion.” This grant in particular is unusual, according to Fish, because Warm Springs Fire and Safety is also an FM Glo bal client. “That’s a pretty rare oc & currence,” Fish said. tj; Mike Witmer handles the -i: tribes’ account with the FM }?
