The Tribal Council o f the Confederated Tribes o f Warm
Springs Reservation o f Oregon, would like to advertise the fol­
lowing:
Culture and Heritage Committee: One tribal member po­
sition, Wasco. Person should be community oriented and pos­
sess a positive rapport with the community. Must have an inter­
est in the tribal culture and heritage. Understanding and appre­
ciation o f and the capability to interpret traditional activities o f
the community. Possess sound understanding o f the tribal or­
ganizational structure and functions. Member o f the Wasco
tribe.
Health and Welfare Committee: One tribal member posi­
tion. Review and recommend to the Tribal Council on health
and welfare service delivery systems, legislation development
and implementation on federal and state levels. Review policies
affecting health and welfare services to tribal members. Direc­
tion o f service systems, proposed projects and comprehensive
health planning methods.
Land Use Planning Committee: One tribal member posi­
tion. Review requests for land use permits * zoning ordinance
changes and possible comprehensive plan updates. Willing to
work with other committees on updates on the IRMP.
Range, Irrigation and Agriculture Committee: One tribal
member position. Review and recommend to the Tribal Coun­
cil on range ordinances, review proposed range units, programs
and projects. Review conditional use permit applications, en­
forcement o f regulations and water resource development on
ranges.
Timber Committee: One tribal member position. Review
and recommend to the Tribal Council on policies in regard to
timber permits, sales o f timber/forest products not more than
30 m bf, review o f areas to be logged, methods o f harvest and
utilization. Review and recommend environmental protections
laws, tribal and federal management plans.
Fish and Wildlife (On-Reservation) Committee: One
tribal member position. Person should be able to review and
recommend to the Tribal Council on hunting and fishing sea­
sons and regulations for on-reservation. Review fish and wild­
life management regulations annually, and land use proposals
for impact on fish and wildlife.

stream flows and water quality standards for reservation water
resources, and the adoption o f numerous other plans directed
to protection and enhancement o f water.

serving on the tribal committee, submit to the following ad­
dress by no later than October 13,2006:
