Wallace Caleb LeClaire
Wallace Caleb LeClaire passed away on May 29, 2006.
He was 41.
Mr. LeClaire was born February 13, 1965 at Redmond to
parents Louis LeClaire Jr., and Lorna Wilkinson. Mr. LeClaire
was a lifelong resident of Warm Springs.
Mr. LeClaire is survived by his father Louis LeClaire
Jr. o f Warm Springs; daughter Shina LeClaire o f Warm
Springs; brothers Thom as LeC laire o f Lapwai, Idaho,
Ezekiel LeClaire o f Salem, Johnson Heath o f Atwater,
Calif., M arlon, D avid Sr., Louis LeC laire and Richard
Wolfe all o f W arm Springs; sisters Lorna LeC laire of
O ntario, D enise Jo h n so n , R egin a L eC laire, C yn thia
LeClaire, Martha Heath and Roberta Heath all o f Warm
Springs.

Aleatha Mae Wolfe
Aleatha Mae Wolfe passed away May 27, 2006. She was
61.
Ms. Wolfe was born May 26, 1945 in Redmond to par
ents Archie Mitchell and Juanita Dick.
Ms. Wolfe was a lifelong resident o f Warm Springs. She
graduated from high school and went to cosmetology school.
Ms. Wolfe had her own cleaning business, and also worked
at the Indian Health Services.
She attended Warm Springs Baptist Church. In her spare
time Ms. Wolfe enjoyed playing Bingo and making ceram
ics. She loved all her friends and family, especially her
grandchildren. Ms. Wolfe loved life and had a very beau
tiful spirit.
She is su rv iv ed by h er ch ild re n , A rch ie C ald era,
Laurence Caldera, Raphael Caldera, all of Warm Springs;
and C ynthia C aldera o f W apato, W ash.; sisters Sarah
M itchell o f Warm Springs, and Rose Johnson Barrick of
Yakima; brother Tommy Kalama o f Warm Springs; aunt
Evelyn Sam o f Warm Springs; numerous grandchildren
and great grandchildren.
Ms. Wolfe is also survived by her other children she cared
for through the years: Alison Mitchell, Abraham Schuster,
Hariett Schuster, Debra Mitchell, and Joseph Mitchell.

Caramon Koda Raven Brunoe
Sean and Christine Brunoe are pleased to announce the
birth of their daughter Caramon Koda Raven Brunoe, born
May 2, 2006. She joins a brother, Raistlin, and two sisters,
Elsie and Lakecia. Her grandparents are Patti and Gibby
Brunoe of Warm Springs, and Caroline Canute of Duncan
BC Canada.
Carlicia Deanna Dixon
Lester Dixon and Crystal Arthur are pleased to announce
the birth of their daughter Carlicia Deanna Dixon, born
May 10, 2006. She joins three brothers Marcus, Jreyvon
and Jerome, and one sister Thaiisa. Her grandparents are
Carol Shadley of Redmond; Scott Dixon o f Susanville,
Calif.; Colleen Johnson and Aaron Arthur, both of Warm
Springs.

Youth is directed to high school
and co llege age youth. The

“Survivors of Suicide,” will be

The first day of the gather
ing, Monday, June 19, starts with
lunch at noon, followed by open
camp prayer, setting up camp,
quiet time, supper at 6 p.m., in
troductions, and fun time.
Tuesday begins with break
fast till 8 a.m ., follow ed by
W ashat, and a discussion on
“Healing Wounded Spirits” by
Dr. Tom B all, K lam ath and
M odoc. A t 2:30 p.m ., “Rez
D o g” C issy F alco n , o f the
Umatilla Tribal Program, will
speak. There will also be a spirit
run, and sweats for females and

be an afternoon spirit walk, talk
time of the entire group, and at
4 p.m., “Wiping the Tears Cer
emony,” followed by supper.
There will be a concert by

Mark A. Massey
Mark A. Massey passed away on May 28, 2006. He was

Mr. Woodburn was born in Oklahoma in 1918. He went
to high school and junior college in Oklahoma and Kansas.
He served in World War II in the Army as a staff sergeant.
He was awarded the victory ribbon and four bronze service
stars.
He was married to Reba Piland in Reno, Nev., in 1957.
They made their home in Madras. Mr. Massey worked as a
payroll and insurance clerk for the Warm Springs Lumber
Co. He retired in 1983 and moved to Woodburn.
He is survived by his wife Reba, brother Fred M assey
o f N ew M exico, and sister Louise Jackso n o f W arm
Springs.

classes at
W.S. Library
The Warm Springs Library
this month will be hosting free
beginning computer classes.
The Bit Mobile from Oregon
State University will be at the
library for the classes at 2 and 6
p.m. on Wednesday, June 14,
and on June 28. Classes will last
about 2 hours.
The classes are great for any
one who hasn’t had any, or very
little, experience using a com
puter.
Todd Williver, the instructor,
is well known as one of the best
computer instructors in the Cen
tral Oregon region.
The June 14 classes will be
on “Beginning Computer Skills,”
and the classes on the 28 will be
on “B asic E m ail and the
Internet.”

funded by a grant from O r
