Rose Gilbert is pleased to announce the birth of her daugh
ter Trinity Rose-Marie Villa, born November 30, 2K)5. Trinity
joins two brothers, Ruiben and Harrison. Grandparent is
Roberta Williams.
Grace Sybil Kalama
Roland Kalama III and April Scott arc pleased to an
nounce the birth of their daughter Grace Sybil Kalama, born
November 20, 2005. The father's parents are Roland Kalama

Mark Kevin Johnson Jr. and Maryann Lola Stahi are

Katelyn Tanewasha
Marty Tanewasha and Josephine Johnson are pleased to
announce the birth of their daughter Katelyn Tanewasha,
born December 2, 2005. Father's parent is Ramona
' Tanewasha of Warm Springs. Mother's parents are John
and Katie Bevis of Pendleton.
Marquis Gabriel
is 7 years old, and
in the second-grade
at Warm Springs
Elementary. His
teacher is Mrs.
Kalama Culpus.
His favorite
subject to study at
school is math, and
also recess.
Outside of school,
Marquis likes to
play basketball with
the Bustin' Buffalo
team at the Warm

Howlak Tichum
Dorla Dean Greene
Dorla Dean Greene passed away on December 11,
2005. She was 75.
Mrs. Greene was born on April 25, 1930 at I-aComb,
Oregon. She married Ixvi Julius Greene on November
19, 1978 at Reno, Nevada. Mr. Greene preceded her in
death earlier this year.
Mrs. Greene was a resident of Warm Springs for 30
years, having moved here from Grants Pass. She was cm
ployed as a nurse prior to her retirement. Mrs. Greene was
a hard worker, and enjoyed feeding cattle, quilting and
hand work.
She is survived by her grandchildren Jesse Greene and
Ixvi Greene, both of Warm Springs; and Sonya Madrid
of Portland.

Howlak Tichum
Ruth Adams
Ruth Adams passed away on November 22, 2005. She
was 64. Mrs. Adams was born January 7, 1941 at Jemez
Pueblo, New Mexico to parents Valintino and Inora (To
ledo) Fragua.
She was married to Delmar Adams on July 2, 1959 at
San Francisco. Delmar preceded her in death. Mrs. Adams
was a member of the Warm Springs Full Gospel Church.
She lived in Oregon for 30 years, relocating here from
Modesto, Calif. Mrs. Adams was an enrolled member of the
Jemez Pueblo. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, and being with
her family. Mrs. Adams was known for her excellent sense
of humor.
She is survived by her children Dean Adams of Burns;
Rodney Adams of Albiujeurijue, Thomas Adams of Ma
dras; Rcna Smith of Warm Springs; and brothers Jacob
Fragua of Meza, Ariz.; and Phillip Fragua of Jemez, New
Mexico; sisters Margaret Swazo of Santa Fc; and Maureen
Fragua of Warm Springs; and ten grandchildren. Four broth
ers and a sister preceded her in death.

Howlak Tichum
John William Berman
John William "Jack" Berman passed away Decemeber
13, 2005, as a result of a car accident. He was 43.
Mr. Berman was born November 15, 1962 at Rock
Springs, Wyoming to parents Dave and Beth (Murphy)
Berman. Mr. Berman came to Central Oregon in 1979 from
Wyoming. He was employed in the restaurant business, most
recently at Kah-Nee-Ta Resort.
He enjoyed all types of sports and being with his friends.
Survivors include his parents of Crooked River Ranch;
son Dakota J. Berman of Madras; sisters Lauree Oekle of
Ely, New Mexico, Gaye Artis of Redmond, Penny Olano of
Bend, and Grace Berman of Bend.
