CAFE offers student enrichment
The Child And Family En
richment (CAl't) Project is an
after school program for stu
dents at Jefferson County Middle
School. The program takes place
at the school and provides a su
pervised after school environ
ment, with access to enriching
experiences. Award-winning lit
erature is a regular part of the
CAFfi program. An evening
meal is provided to CAF stu
dents and bus transportation
home is provided. There is no
enrollment fee.
The CAFfi Project is divided
into three terms, so that students
with after school conflicts for
part of the year can still register
for CAFI- terms that do not in
terfere with other activities.
CAFFl terms are: October to
December 17; January 3 to
March 4, 2005; and March 7 to
May 27. CAFFl takes place Mon
day through Friday on full
school days, with the exception
of the first Friday of each
month. The program begins af
ter school releases and dismisses
at 6:10 p.m.
For more information, con
tact Anne Scheideman, CAFFl
Project Director, at 475-6192.
