House fire leaves
family needing help

saw their home and nearly all
their possessions destroyed
by fire.

Lookee Lodge host an appreciation luncheon. This month
the luncheon was appreciation of Spilyay Tymoo. Above,

Kah-Nee-Ta is seeking fine
arts and crafts created by Warm
Springs tribal artists for direct
purchase an d /o r public exhibi
tion.
This artistic endeavor offers
artists an opportunity to en
hance the resort’s interior and
promote cultural aesthetics.
The theme for the 2003 ex
hibition show is entitled “Live
in Beauty.”
Artwork will be selected on
the merit o f high artistic excel
lence and fine craftsmanship.
T he call for entry requires a
submission o f slides or photo
graphs o f artw ork for gallery
consideration.
This will also help establish
an art bank and web-site for
prospective buyers.
The deadline for submissions
to “Live in Beauty” is March 3.
The reception opening for the
artists and celebration for Kah-
Nee-Ta’s exhibition spaces will
be in April, and further infor

date.
