Perfect weather greeted the Confederated Tribes annual
celebration of sovereignty - the Pi-Ume-Sha Treaty Days
Powwow. The sky was somewhat overcast for part of the
three-day event, providing welcome shade but no rain.
The powwow included grand entries and dance con
tests, plus sporting events including rodeo, Softball, box
ing and a fun-run.
Pi-Ume-Sha weekend left many people looking forward
to 2003 and the 34th annual celebration.
