Kristi Olney places second at
the state roll offs of the Coca
Cola Bowling Tournament,
April 27 in Salem, Oregon.
Her overall score of 1334 won
her a trophy and a certificate
for SI 10 in scholarship funds
for age division.
Olney bowled at the Madras
Bowl to qualify for the state
roll offs. "She missed the state
championship by eight pins,"
states her grandfather Delvis

bowl nationally.
Olncy's grandmother,
Shirley Heath, was proud of
her granddaughter as she did
her best at this tournament. "I
saw her bowl and get a split
and thought that she needs at
least one of these, but she
picked it up!" says Heath. "I
am so proud of her," she adds.
Olney has bowled only this
year's bowling season and has
taken to the sport exception
ally. She is also active in bas
ketball, and Softball.
Olney is in the fourth grade
and attends Warm Springs El

of Lucinda I Icath, who is also
very proud of her daughter.
