was held Saturday, May 19, 2001.
The Collage of culture cel
ebrates spring in Jefferson County.
The event shares and displays
three primary cultures, Anglo, Na
tive American and Hispanic. The t
event takes place in Friendship
Park off Fourth Street in Madras,
nqar.Westside Elementary School.
The Collage features visual
and performing art reflecting our
cultures, ethnic dancing and tanta
lizing cuisine. Music is a center
piece of the festival.
The Collage also features
eastern Oregon's largest hot air
balloon festival. The Collage is sim
ply a wonderful, colorful celebration
of the best of Jefferson County.
