I am writing this note in
our newspaper to let you all
know that our son Isreal T.
Scott has made it into the
National Finals Rodeo to be
held in Albuquerque, New
Mexico. He was at the top of,
the list for saddle bronc
riding, this made him eligible
to participate in the Indian
National Finals Rodeo.
This event will be
December 6th through
December 9th. There will be
special fundraisers or bake
sales to help support Isreal
on his trip to Albuquerque.
We wish him the best in his
event and our prayers go with
him.

All players and coaches must submit their birth date and social security
number for a mandatory police check prior to the tournament. No blue
denim clothing allowed in the institution. No tobacco products are
permitted in the institution. Total roster limit is 1 5, including coaches. No
items are to be given to inmates. Equipment allowed: Warm-up suits,
knee braces, wraps, basketball shoes, equipment bag.
To Enter All entries must be in the form of a money order, certified check, or company check.

Cowboys 69
68 Floyd Franks shot just before the final
buzzer wins the game between the
Madras White Buffaloes and the
Crook County Cowboys, 69-68,
Tuesday November 28, 00. The non
league game played on the Cowboy
court was the first game for each team
for the season.
McCarthy's fine shooting kept the
Cowboys in the game all evening long
as he hit 7, three pointers during the
game and scored a total of 36 points
during the game, as he outscored
everyone for the night.
Crook County led at the end of the
first quarter 17-16, and led at the half
time intermission 40-32.
The Buffaloes came out in the third
quarter to out score the Cowboys 22
12 and take a two point lead at the
end of three quarters, and in the
closing minutes of the game the
Cowboys had the lead and looked like
a win, when they made a turn over
with just seconds remaining in the
game the Buffaloes took the ball from
out of bounds passed to Frank where
he drove toward the goal and just
before the buzzer made his shot to
give the White Buffaloes the win by
the score of 69-68.
This gives the buffs a 1-0, standing
so far, while the Cowboys are 0-1, at
the present time.
The next outing for the Buffs, they
will face the Sisters Outlaws during
the Bob Mckenzie memorial
basketball tournament, while the
Crook County Cowboys travel to
meet the Sandy Pioneers, in a non
conference game.

Eckman 5, Smith 2, Thomas 2, Gillen,
Swindle
Floyd Frank was the leading scorer
for the Buffaloes as he burned the nets
for 22 points, while Chasan Walker, ;
scored 16, points for the winners,
Ellsbury scored 8, White added 8
points. Wells 6, J. Barnes 5, C. Barnes
4, and Davis.
