The three day event featured a variety of dance and drum contests,' memorials and dinners. Young and old danced to the rhythms of the drums in their finest regalia as hundreds of spectators were entertained. Some of the contestants provided fierce competition in their respective categories which resulted in dance offs as in the little boys in the grass dance category. The winner took home a $1 00.00. World class dancers and singers attended this small but highly respected pow-wow. Food vendors provided the fried bread and stew and other refreshments which fed hungry visitors. Other vendors were on hand displaying works of ' VjrJV- " art, jewelry, and flutes. l lie I isoui io vi ii le ovmM uvoivj ui ij i uiiiw vivio i iwi iiiuuv u vuiiuuiw ku ui this time.
