George Danzuka Jr. has been filed with the Warm
Springs Tribal Court.
By this notice you are summoned to appear in
this matter at a hearing scheduled for 4:00 p.m., on
the 5th day of April, 2000, at the Warm Springs
Tribal Court. All of the facts of the case will be
heard at this hearing, including evidence you wish
to present.
You must appear to present your argument or
the other side will automatically win. The Peti
tioner, Warm Springs Tribal Credit may then be
given all that is asked for in the petition for George
Danzuka, Jr.

On January 1, 2000, the Daily Olympian, Olympia, Washington,
published the High School Athletes of the Century for the local
schools in the area and Aaron Kalama was named the Athlete of
the Century for Yelm High School, Yelm, Washington. The family
is having this tournament to commemorate this honor.
Awards given to 1st to 5th place winners, All Stars, MVP, Mr.
Hustle, Most 3 points, Most Inspirational.

home from natural causes. Holliday
was born November 30, 1927 to
parents Ben & Lena (Smith)
Holliday Sr. at Warm Springs,
Oregon. ,
Mr. Holliday was a lifetime
resident of Warm Springs and an
enrolled member of the Confcder-
Marilyn Janice Meanus, age 43
years passed away February 11,
2000 at Mt. View Hospital in Ma
dras, Oregon. Born January 22,
1957 to parents Marvin Meanus
and Amelia (John) Col wash at
Redmond, Oregon, Ms. Meanus
was a lifetime resident of Warm
Springs. She also was an enrolled
memberof the Confederated Tribes
of Warm Springs.
Marilyn went to school in Warm
Springs and Madras where she par
ticipated in chcerleading and sports.
She enjoyed softball and basketball.

1940, and July 24, 1947. This
includes those persons who were
members of the organized mili
tary forcesof thecommonwealth
of the Philippines during the time
these forces were in the service
of the Armed Forces of the United
States.
To qualify for these special
benefits, the veterans must:
be age 65 or older as of
December 14, 1999. the date the
;law was signed by the Presi
dent; be eligible for Supple
mental Security Income (SSI) in
December 1999, And in the
month they apply for the special
benefits; and
receive no more than
$384.00 (75) of the SSI fed
eral benefit rate effective Janu
ary 2000) in monthly benefits
from other than SSI sources.
Unlike SSI, which ends when
recipients leave the country, the

(for memorials) and participated in
sweats. Along with cooking, she en
joyed being with her grandchildren
and family. She was employed as a
janitor for the Confederated Tribes
at the time of her passing.
Survivors include her parents,

Katchia of Warm Springs; brothers

Simnasho Cemetery.
