My family has always been a participant in this event, whether it's myself, my kids, my brother & his family, cousins, nieces' nephews, etc. It's one of those events where you just can't miss it! It becomes a part of you. And so, it came to pass, that the week-end of August 28 and 29 we answered our calling and faced the challenge of the 1998 Hood to Coast relay! We had a great bunch of people this year. This group just seemed to "click". Everyone got along well and helped each other out. There was a lot of team spirit! Although we had some real animals on the second van this year, everyone did a great job! I would like to thank our sponsors and other people for their assistance. Every year, we are able to do this because of the help we receive from them. And, the two teams entered in the Portland to Coast Walk. ECE and IHS both had teams entered, and we understand they did pretty well. Always, the first year teams run into some problems getting lost or missing exchange points. Don't feel bad, ladies, it happened to us once upon a time. Just keep at it, it only gets better! All in all, it was a fun time for everyone. I hope that all of the other teams had a great time, we definitely did.
