The third and newest trainee is Scott Moses. Scott put the program on hold this year to take a position as village Gate Manage. He will be moving to the accounting department this win ter. Servicemembers and veterans receive an extra $300 credit for each quarter in which they received any basic pay for active duty or active duty for training after 1956 and before 1978. After 1977, acredit of $100 is granted foreach $300of reported wages up to a maximum credit of $1,200. No additional Social Security taxes are withheld from pay for these extra credits. He and his wife Sue and children live in Sheridan, Michigan. While serving with the 1 st Cavalry Division in Vietnam and walking third in "the stick," he was wounded. Since that time, he has been in a wheel chair, but does not let that get in his way. He has struggled with many of the same issues other vets have had to work through anger, bitterness and unforgi veness, depression, addictions but he made some deliberate choices in his life which have brought him healing and freedom. His smile will brighten your day and give you a hope Paul Huges: Paul's story is an account that will certainly contribute to the healing and recovery needed in the aftermath of war. His is a testimony to how a powerful and loving God can take a wounded, broken, desperate man's life and transform it into one of faith, service, and hope.
