What happens when you leave the gate open, well someone forgot to close the gate on Jered Rico and Brien Miller as they went on a scoring spree, burning the nets for an un-official total of 23 points, apeice during the game. They both turned in a great performance for the night. Brian Miller contributed 4 three pointers during the game as he was doing a good job from the three point range, to get the 23 points for the night and he was three of 4 at the free throw line and was tough on defense keeping the Indians off balance. T. J. Moschetti added 16 points for the Buffs as he was 8 of 10 at the free throw line and add four field goals. Jason Cordes had nine points with one three pointer two field goals and he was 2 for 2 at the foul line. Kyle Wyatt contributed a three pointer as he let it go just a half of second before the buzzer sounded to thrill the fans on that long shot, Peter Johnson had a field goal to round out the scoring for the Buff's for the night. Row Ryes Hodges 6, Jeff Murat 3, and Donavan Martin, Casey Hayes each had 2 points apiece. In the opening quarter it was a see saw affair as each team went basket for basket until late in that quarter when the Buffs made a surge to out score Indians 23-13, and from that point on the Buffs never gave up the lead or were never in trouble of losing the lead, even though The Dalles hung around just waiting for a chance for something to open up for them. The desperation by The Dalles Indians put them in foul trouble in the second half as they were going for the ball and done a lot of fouling and the Buffs capitalized on all those free shots as the Buffs hit 19 out of 22 from the free throw line for the night. This pushes the Buff to a three game winning streak in their last three outings. Their next game will be in Gladstone as the Gladiators will host the high flying Buffaloes on Friday night Jan. 31, with game time at 7:30 p.m. The next home encounter will be next Tuesday when they host the Portland Christian Valliants. In their first meeting earlier in the year the Valliants defeated the Buffs, so they will be on a payback mission when the Valleants invade Buffalo territory. The Buffs will have to keep up their winning streak and keep the play-off in their sights as they soon will be here. 1 7th Sirena Medina three 8th Tonya Boise one 9th Sisiley Scott zero Girls ages (10-11) 1st Sissaley Graybael six 2nd Teshina Winishu five 3rd Derisea Boise three 4th Dora Payne one 5th Rayann Kathcia zero Boys ages (8-9) 1st Albert Adams 13 District Runner-up 2nd Sonny Yahtin 12 3rd Rodney Kenyon 10 4th Ellcry LeCIaire six 4th Johnny Smith six 6th Bobby Thruby three Boys ages (10-11) 1st Sam Spino 10 2nd Julian Wallulatum eight 3rd Randal Wallulatum five 3rd Stephan Vaeth five 4th Matthew Garcia four 4th Jordan Jackson four in Tri-Valley League 0 Taralee Suppah, 25, scores two and Kea wyatt, 1 1, are getting The Eagle Spirits Men's basketball team will be hosting a 6" Plus One Open men s basketball tournament, true double elimination. We have a real good nucleus with Cece Polk doing alot of the scoring for us. The two that I think have really done most of the dirty work, setting screens, getting rebounds and put aside scoring is Reina Estimo and Emily Espenel, while Marie Kalama is a great spark off the bench." Osborne concluded, "We just are really team oriented and that's what helps us be a good team. Also these girls are easy to coach because they are willing to learn and listen."
