Jane Kirkpatrick Dog control shoots pet dog To the editor, To the H & W Sanitarian & Tribal Council. Although I have called and addressed this issue with you, I want to make my concerns public. On December 5th, my daughter called you because she seen the "dog catcher" Edward Lucie and 2 pas sengers driving around Wolfe Point. Her concern was over her dog, her pet, "Chompcrs". He was a pit bull expensive-papered AKC-physically fit and well nourished. Chompers had run out of our yard when my daughter had let him loose to run around. My daughter was told a mes sage would be left for E. Lucei to call her back. By this time Chompers was loose no more than eight hours. He was not mangy, starving, rabid, chas baby jack (Jonathon), "nickelodeon, June (cockatjel) and bud (my all time traveling companion that has never ' left my side even as much as I forgot him in the parking lot). I appreciate all your help and keeping the house in order. Thank you for standing be hind me (literally) when I decided to tear the wall down. I thought it was funny my neighbors were there watching me do this. Irememberyou saying "what about the landlord". Well the bathroom wall was spack led and re-painted and looked brand new and I still was charged for doing such a good job because the landlord didn't want to pay me for labor and supplies. I didn't want to be paid I just wanted to enjoy my bathroom. And tell your buddies I will always be mother hen because I love you very much so take care of yourself. Thank Raphael and Eydie for host ing my graduation dinner & party. I'm just sorry I couldn't stay up long enough to be there, I really think I'm getting old. Darn Ray you are going to be 31 on November 8 and I'm so old, I'll be 30 on November 1st. Where does time go.. .oh yeah, Jerry said thanks for the fruit. Ella Jane Jim The Bellanger's The Colwash's The Kalama's ing livestock or children. He never went out of the "bowl" here in Wolf Point. Yet the "dog catcher" stated he picked him up at Culpus Bridge. I DON'T THINK SO DOG CATCHER. I want to know who will replace this AKC pit bull? I told Nancy Collins if I was like her and E. Lucei, I would go to her home & Edwards and shoot their pets. But I'm not like they are. When animals look cared for, the dog catcher needs to locate possible owners. Instead of taking them and shooting them. Besides how do I know the dog catcher is not intentionally picking up pure breds for his own purposes.
