Blackhawks out scored the Magpies
33-30 and won 85-64.
For the game Wechter scored 24,
Scott 1 8 and Smith 1 9. Leading scorer
for the Magpies was Davis with 20.
The Blackhawks advanced to the
third and fourth place game and the
Magpies were put out of the
tournament.

Game 19, Warm Springs played
Santa Clara for third and fourth.
In the first, Joe Hutt lead Santa
Clara to a 23-19, by scoring eight
first quarter points. The Blackhaw ks
were hot from the three point line
they made six in the quarter, with
Remo Smith making three.
In the second quarter. Santa Clara
kept the pressure on the Blackhawks
and lead 41-34 at the end of second
quarter.
In the third. Joe Pruc, of Santa
Clara, scored eight of his team high
19, to give Santa Clara a 63-52 lead
at the end of the third quarter.
In the final period, Wechter tried
to bring the Blackhawks back by
scoring 12 points in the quarter, but
Bob Attle Berry of Santa Clara
aswered with 10 points of his ow n.
Santa Clara won by the score of 82
75 in taking third place and the
Blackhawks placed fourth. The top
scorers for the game were Joe True
19, Joe Hutt 15 and Dean Jones with
14 for Santa Clara. For the
Blackhaw ks Kelly Wechter 26. Remo
Smith 17 and James Scott 11.

Game 20, Yakama played Lapw ai
for the championship.
In the first quarter, the game was
very close w ith Lapw ai holding a 33
31 lead at the end of the first. Mike
Leslie and Greg Jose were the top
performers for Lapwai in the first
quartcr.eachplaycr scored 1 1 points.
CI j ton Dawes of Yakama had eight
for his team.
In the second quarter, Lapwai
widened its lead to seven bv out-
scoring Yakama 28-23 in the quarter
and led 61-54 at half-time. Lapwai's
Bob Sabotta and Felix Megown
scored 12 & eight points in the
quarter. Jonathan Takes Enemy
scored eight to keep Yakama close.
The game was close going into
the third w hen Lapw ai exploded for
32 points and held Yakama to 17
points in the quarter. Lapwais' Lil'
Foot Ellenwood got hot and scored
11 points in the quarter. He made tw o
treys, one two point field goal and
three free throws. Teammate Greg
Jose added eight points in the quarter.
The score read Lapwai 93, Yakama
70 at the end of the third.
In the fourth Lapw ai w as sent to
the free throw line 20 times and made
13. Yakama was out scored in the
final quarter 33-21 and could not get
closer then 20 points the rest of the
way. Lapwai used its bench most of
the time in final quarter with Eric
Holt making the most of his playing
time by scoring 10 points in the
quarter. Takes Enemy had seven for
Yakama. Lapwai won by the score of
122-92.
Lapwai had seven players score
1 0 or more poi n ts in the game lead by
Jose and Leslie with 20 and 21
respectively. Yakama was led by
Takes Enemy with 26 and Dawes
who pitched in 18.
