Brian is in the Army and has one year left of duty. Suppah is a member of the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs and is back home for a few days, before being sent to Ft. Hood Texas. On a normal day in Bosnia Suppah would wakeup eat breakfast and work on whatever project he was assigned to, whether it was building a road, landing pad or parking lot. They 1 ! worked from the morning until 5 p.m. or so. Brian is a heavy machine operator in the Army. Suppah talked about the people in Bosnai, stating, "Most of the people were great and really very nice. During the time I was their we had no problems with the locals. " "Since joining the Army I have the opportunity to see a lot of places I would have never thought of going if I stayed at home. I have been to New York, Texas, Missouri, Hungary, Ireland, Germany, Bosnia, and Croatia. It has opened a lot of doors for me to travel and see new places. This has been an adventure and I think some of the people here would enjoy it. I would recommend the Army for someone who likes to travel," stated Suppah. "In the Army I have learned values and that the reservation is small and there is more out there to see. I am thinking about re enlisting for two more years.," Suppah said. From here, Suppah will go back to Texas and from there he will go to one of three places, Honduras, Panama or Zaire. "I would encourage people to enlist, to get away and see some of the world. It is great." concluded Suppah. Brian Suppah during home visit. Spilyay Tymoo Publisher: Sid Miller Editor: Donna Behrend ReporterPhotographer: Selena T.
