Thanks for all your generosity in
To the editor,
I would like to finally submit a
thank you letter to a whole lot of
people. Me and my daughter, Sherri
Smith, both lost our homes to the
Simnasho Fire. We are now moved
into our new homes located at the
same places. I would like to thank the
fire and safety department for rescu

The Red Cross also paid for our first
months rent at the apartments and
gave us some bedding, towels, beds
and a dining set. I want to thank the
Shaker Church and the Baptist
Church for having the fire shower for
us. AH you members of both churches
are well appreciated for all you done
for us at those times.
I would like to thank Leroy Smith
and George Clements for giving us
cash when we were down and out.
Also there were two other people
who donated cash that did not want
their names mentioned, but you know
who you are. We love you guys very

Estimated 400 children attend third annual
National Children's Dental
Health Month
Submittal by: Ju.mii.i Simpson,
RDH
The 3rd Annual Denial Open I louse
was held on February 5lh in honor of
National Children's Denial Health
Month. An estimated 4(K) children
from ages three through seven attended
this event.
Lots of smiles and fun were had by
all! A puppet play, festive decorations,
ami live different denial topics were
addressed, along with gifts given to the
children who attended.
Our goal at the dental clinic during
the open house is to orient children to
our clinic, so that they will be more
comfortable and relaxed when they
come to visit. Our mission seemed to
be accomplished, because the following
day we placed sealants on thirty-three
children, and the children were
exceptionally easy to work with. Many
of the children that we placed sealants
on do need exams; please call us and
make an appointment for your child if
they received sealant placement.
Many thanks to the Warm Springs
Elementary School and Ileadstarl

time of need
time like this. I never would have
made it without you. Alfred and Roni
were nice enough to put us up until
we could get a place. I wanted to
thank Miles King for putting up with
me having to deal with all these things
and to my staff for getting everything
done when I was away from the of
fice. We want to invite anyone up to
see our new homes at 43 1 0 Tommic
Street and 4308 Tommie Street.
Thanks to everyone who donated
things to us to make everything a
reality again. It is so neat to know
that all our people stand by us in our
time of need. God Bless you all.
