The event was held as a fund raiser for The Museum. Guests were treated to Indian singing and dance performances and were able to take a look at The Museum's private artifact collection. About 100 Museum patrons paid $150 each to dine on traditonally prepared salmon along the Deschutes River at Ken and Jeanie Smith's home. A silent auction netted The Museum over $4,500. Total donations were close to $20,000. Smith said he hoped this would become an annual event for The Museum.
