This is a WSIRA sanctioned rodeo, with all the points will be recorded and at the end of the season the cowboys with the most points will earn the right to compete in the National Finals in the Fall. There are the regular eight rodeo events of saddle bronc, bareback, bull riding, steer wrestli ng, cal f ropi ng, bar rel race brcadaway roping and team roping. Heavyweight title in August, will be in attendance. Twelve athletes will be attending the Indigenous Games held in St. Paul, Minnesota on July 28 through August 6, 1995. The Indigenous Games is a festival of sporting activities that will have over 400 tribes and 8,000 to 10,000 athletes representing Indian tribes from Canada and the United States. There will be six basketball players and six Track & Field athletes representing TEAM OREGON. For Track & Field they , are: Tim Williams, Cliff Pamperien, Raymond Anderson, Siagigi Histake, Odessa Jones, Mike Speakthunder and Andy Leonard. For Basketball they are: Ty Eaglespeaker, Jered Moses, Roland ' Kalama, III, Foster Sahme, Allen Jackson and Mario Smith. Coach Chaperones will be Andy Leonard, Fran Ahern and Austin Greene. "1 .J The Warm Springs Reservation Runners are holding their 15th Annual Pi-Ume-Sha Run, 10K and 2.0 mile run, Saturday, June 24, 1995, at 8:00 a.m. starting and ending at the Warm Springs Community Center. It is a flat course, out and back. Water stations will be located throughout the course. Entry fee is $10 pre-registered, $12 day of the race, no T-shirt and club members $7. There are male and female divisions in age groups as follows: Under 10, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25 29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50 54, 55-59, and 60 & over. Overall male and female winners will receive awards. First through third place male and female finishers in each division will receive ribbons.
