Ardis Smith, right, designed the Warm Springs Elementary and
design for T-shirts silkscreened April 14.
Four Madras High School students
from Mr. Comingore's Graphic Arts
class came to Warm Springs April 14
to silk-screen T-shirts for the students
and teachers. Ardis Smith designed
the silk-screen of an eagle, which is
the school mascot, and the school
name. Coming to help her were
Charlie Ochs, Michael Alexander,
and Jessie Esquiro.
Students provided their own T-shirts.
Many T-shirts were brought in by
students and teachers.

Now that we have your
attention. ...yourchild was sent home
with instructions which requested
them to use their imagination. The
trick was to package a raw egg so
that it will not break when dropped

Western Rivers Girl
Scouts recruiting
A meeting was held on March
29th from 7-8 pm in the WSE library.
Several girls and their parents at
tended this meeting in an attempt to
get a WS Troop started. Another two
meetings were scheduled; one on
April 6th and another on April 13th
at 7 pm. Again at WSE to offer train
ing for possible leaders. It's not too
late to sign your child up. At the
March 29th meting it was recom
mended that a co-op be started that
would allow several people to lead
the troop, rather than have one per
son be responsible for all of the troop
meetings.
