This only includes the gym, however the rest of the gym will be open for those who want to work out with the weights and for aerobic and other physical activities not done in the gym. On October 16, 1993, there will be the first annual Warm Springs Road Warriors Bi-Alhalon, which will include a 21 mile bike ride and also a 10-K run. The entry fee is $13.00, pre-registration, and $20.00, to enter the day of the race. This can be a Co-Ed team or a person can do both, the bike ride and the run. Since this is the first annual Biathalon, there will be T-Shirts for the first 50 entries. This should be an event well worth entering. There will also be a 6.2 mile run and a fun run for the children. Community donations help keep the program in operation. 1 1 -J II Oregon Babes won two Softball tournaments in August. Local women's team takes tourneys A women's Softball team from Warm Springs traveled to Ft. Hall, Idaho on August 12-14, 1993. The team (Oregon) was sponsored by Lee Sorrelhorsc.PlaycrsconsistcdofJunc Smith, Juliane Smith, Dcanic Smith, Tobi Smith, Jocelyn Moses, Trish Whitman, Angel McCormack, Mary Taylor, Heather Kinlcy, Becky Soliz, Paula Brisbois, and Sandy Wilbur. Their opponents for game one was Bannock Heating of Ft. Hall. Oregon won nine to eight in eight innings of play. The second game was against Minnesota. Oregon won 12 to 6. In game three vs. Montana S tridcrs, Or egon was also undefeated 18-1. Or egon had their fourth and final game as championship against the Arrowettes of Ft Duchesne and won 16-13. All-stars for the weekend were presented to Juliane Smith, Angel McCormack and Heather Kinlcy. Most Val uablc Player went to Heather Kinlcy. The team then traveled to Lewiston, Idaho on August 20-22, 1993 to play Softball. They were (Bcbe's). Tournament will start promptly at 10:00 a.m. on Octo ber 2nd. There will be three age di visions: 9-12; 13-18; and 19 and up. All entry forms and all entry fees must be turned in by 9:00 a.m. on October 2nd to make basketball schedule. Entry fee is $3.00 per player, 3 or 4 players per team. Rules of the tourney are: 1.) Double elimination; 2.) Street ball, call your own foul. First team to score 20 points must win'by four. Prizes for first place is a trophy and gold medals. Prizes for second place is a Plaque and silver medals. Third place will receive bronze med als. A Sportsmanship Trophy will also be given away. A full concession stand will be available at the gym.
