Signs on Highway 26, will direct you to Frog Lake. The events will take place in the day use . May 27 and 28 gave students an opportunity to enjoy some athletic competition. Students participated In both track clinic scheduled for June 12 feature local fishing experts showing youngsters how to catch fish. Braves Up-Date The Warm Springs Braves of the minor league reports of a good season which is winding down to the end in a few days. With their record of 6 wins and 1 loss so far. The loss came to the hands of the Culver Team 1. The loss was be cause for the shortage of players, as only 6 players showed up for the game. Had the whole team showed up the record might have been a all win record. Coach Sam Kentura said the boys have been play ing real well together all season long. They did have three games cancelled because of rain, and there has been no dates set for the make up games as of yet. The Braves have won games over Culver 1 team by the scorre of 10-7; over Madras Builders 7-1; over the Warriors 13-4; beat the Chiefs 10-4; over Culver 2 8-6; over Erickscns 16-9; and lost to Culver 1 team 10-7. There was good pitching from Shawn Rae Gabriel and Aaron Lan- Lady travelers compete in Bend league The Lady Travelers of Warm Springs are playing in the Bend ladies softball league and so far have won 3 and lost 2 games. They play two games per week with a total of 16 teams in the over all league. The Warm Springs team plays in the Di vision A league which consists of four tip teams. Coach-Player Jencll Smith said, "It's quite competitive and they have their work cut out for them in each game, but they enjoy playing in the league. The only thing that presents a little problem is the travel to and from Bend, OR, twice a week, other than that everything is fincThe other teams included in the Division A league are. The Braves will be losing five players at the end of the season. Next year they will be without the services of Aaron Langley, Shawn Rae Gabriel, Harley Andrews, William Napyer, and Joseph Stevens.
